Meet Our Visionaries
Pradeep
He was born in the desert of the Aravalli mountains in Bera, Rajasthan (130 kilometres south of Udaipur). He started his studies in commerce and marketing in Mumbai, but he quickly got interested in nature and switched towards it.
When he was in Mumbai, he missed his home which is situated in Bera where leopards and people live peacefully with each other. One day he decided to return Bera and share his passion for this beautiful endangered predator listed by the WWE BERA who has the highest concentration of leopards in India and protects them in the best way.
Since 2005, he has been introducing visitors to this unusual animal, of which he is closely familiar with every specimen, habitat, and behaviour in his native land. His keen vision evaluates this magnificent landscape
Marie
Since 1989, a French unprofessional photographic journalist has been delighted with India and has not stopped travelling the world in search of a meeting with both people and animals.
Marie spent several years in Africa, as well as on the Indian Ocean island of Mayotte. She is an animal lover and fell in love with the place Bera and its fetish leopard “Pink Nose”.
Ladakh and the snow leopard's discovery was unexpected. His friendship with Pradeep simply leads her to suggest to him the establishment of WILD CAT EYES in order to provide moments of sharing, of common passion to all lovers of felines and Nature, in the fullest of his respect and traveller ethics.
